ABOUT

What is Kid Kore?

Kid Kore International Ltd. was a children's toy company that produced many product lines in the 1990s and early 2000s, mostly fashion dolls and accessories as well as model horses. They were sold at least in Walgreens, K-Mart, and Wal-Mart in the United States. Most relevant to this collection are the lines Stable Champions and SRC Riding Club. Both featured plastic model horses with or without posable dolls and accessories.

What are Minis?

Some Stable Champions and SRC Riding Club sets sometimes featured a pair of hard plastic miniature horse figures, a mare and foal who matched the color of the larger horse. These minis are not referenced on any part of the packaging, making what Kid Kore officially calls them a mystery and creating a complex puzzle for determining how many were made, in what colors, and sold with which sets. Because of this quirk in packaging, only in-package figures or photos can be used to officially determine this information.

How is the catalog created?

This catalog focuses soley on the hard plastic mini figures, not the large horses with rooted hair. Every new photographic or in hand product evidence found of either loose or in-package minis is documented, including which series it is a part of, which large horse it was packaged with, and which color is found on which mold. This information is used to create confirmed and speculative lists of figures produced. New information is being found all the time. If you have any information not found on this website or any mini figures for sale not pictured here, please contact marbletoast@gmail.com
